during the installation process.
SpyLock will not appear in the

Using SpyLock
3.1.
Locking Down a Machine
To Start Lock-Down in SpyLock's
client, simply right-click the system tray icon and choose "Lock
Computer " - then
enter your SpyLock password.
You can also lock the PC down by pressing the CONTROL+ALT+SHIFT+L hotkey
once.
To access the client simply press the hotkey combination (CONTROL+ALT+SHIFT+L)
- you will then be prompted for your password. After entering your password
your machine will re-enabled without out the security settings. If you
are running SpyLock in stealth mode and wish to go back into stealth mode,
simply click on the "Hide SpyLock Icon" in the SpyLock system
tray menu. If you have chosen the Hide SpyLock Icon before locking your
PC, you can still lock your PC with the hotkey combination - unlocking
the PC will reload the SpyLock tray icon into the task bar.

Content Filtering
SpyLock can be configured to block/allow
specific websites for the user, or to prevent specified applications from
being
executed. Click on FILTERING to access SpyLock's filtering menu - simply
select Websites Filtering or Applications Filtering to configure the appropriate
content to be filtered.
Website and Applications Filters
can be imported/exported for use on multiple PC's as well - just select
the appropriate selection from the FILTERING menu.
Using SpyLock as a Content
Filtering Tool
To use SpyLock as
a content filtering/management tool, rather than a full system lockout
tool you can perform the following steps:
1. Configure
SpyLock's content filtering options.
2. Enable various SpyLock security settings that do
not hinder a users full access to the machine. For example, do not enable
the 'disable mouse functionality' option. Some good options that works
well with content filtering would be the 'disable cd drives', 'disable
log off','disable registry editors', etc.
3. Enable
the SpyLock "lock down" - this will put the content filtering
operations into effect, without effectively locking users out of your
computer. When you wish to remove the content filtering simply unlock
your PC.
4. You can also
use the Content Filtering Scheduling feature to have
SpyLock filter user activities (websites, applications, and chat clients)
during specific hours of the day -without having SpyLock lock the PC
down at all. Lockdown scheduling can be scheduled additionally to the
filtering scheduling.
5. To disable
content filtering simply lockdown your PC, then unlock. This will stop
any scheduling for the current hour, letting you use SpyLock's settings
again.

SpyLock with Multiple User Configurations
SpyLock can be configured separately
for each user on your Windows workstation. This means that you can have
different security and filtering settings for each user of your PC. To
do this follow these steps:
1. Install SpyLock
under your Administrator account.
2. Run SpyLock
under your Administrator account and configure your settings for that
account, if desired.
3. Login under
each username on your workstation and run SpyLock - then configure the
